(There is a carpark at Earls Hall School off of Colemans Avenue, NOT at the front of the school which is Carlton Avenue and metered)

Southend Classes

Classes at Southend are priced at £7.00 and are divided into the following age groups and times:

18mths - 3 yrs - Time: 08:30 - 09:15 am

3 - 4 yrs - Time: 09:20 - 10:10 am

5 - 7 yrs - Time: 10:15 - 11:10 am

Southend Terms Dates

We run 3 terms a year. These fall in line with the main school terms and are as follows:

27th April 2019 - 20th July 2019 (13 weeks)

7th September 2019 - 14th December 2019 (15 weeks)

11th January 2020 - 4th April 2020 (13 weeks)

Southend Coaches

Gerard Boston - Lead Coach

Gerard is the (super) Dad of 8 children, Rugby Coach for Southend RFC under 5/6 and is a level 1 qualified coach, working towards level 2. He is a committee member for Mini & Youth at Southend RFC and loves watching, playing & coaching rugby. Gerard says, "Rugby is a sport for all, male, female, girl, boy, any shape and any size. I just love it and all forms of the game TAG/TOUCH/ 7S/ 10/S 15s/ it is just an amazing sport to be invovled in. It has given me alot and I'm just giving something back."

Susan Cripps - Junior Coach

Susan has a Rugby Ready coaching qualification and a level 1 referring qualification and she played tag rugby for primary school, West Leigh Junior School. She is studying a level 3 BTEC in Sport & Exercise Science at SEEVIC College. Susan Says, "My dad has played rugby Semi- Professional and now plays for the 5th team at Southend RFC so I have always been heavily involved and brought up with a rugby background. For my Duke of Edinburgh Bronze & Silver volunteering I coached tag rugby from under 5's to under 9's for a season. I work for the club & I am an assistant training physio for the second team, with a first aid qualification too. I love coaching and seeing the children progress and work their way through and develop. I now see some of my Little Scrummers up in the mini & youth which is so great to see!"
