Are you A bright lively and enthusiastic individual with the maturity and motivation to lead a group of 18m-7yr olds and manage a junior coach?! You will be based at our Harlow classes and own transport is essential. The classes run on SATURDAY Mornings from 8.15-11.15a m and we run 3 terms a year (which follow the main school terms). Little Scrummers Rugby is an exciting idea based on non contact rugby for boys and girls aged 18months to 7 years, which not only encourages them to have fun and play sport, but work as a team and share! Our classes help to improve a childs gross motor skills, and their sporting ability by introducing them to sport at an earlier age, as well as having a positive effect on communication, behavioural, and social skills. We love the children to be outdoors and use pitches as much as possible, with all our classes being outside March-October.

The successful Lead Coach candidate would need to have the right attitude and experience, more than official rugby coaching qualifications, but these would be beneficial. Experience in working with young children and/or coaching rugby is essential and a paediatric first aid qualification would be desirable.

Training will be provided along with a Coaching Manual and Lesson Plan guide. In addition to the class times above you will need roughly 15 minutes per session for administration.

Pay £10-£20 per hour depending on experience. This position will begin ASAP with training in the classes prior to taking over.
